It always starts with a seed of an idea. Nurtured and cared for, with thoughtfulness and an eye toward innovation. Sometimes growth is hindered. You learn from mistakes and evolve. Pivot when necessary, and start growing anew.
Pivot when necessary, and start growing anew. Click To TweetHere at TrenDemon it started with a concrete problem: Marketers don’t have a way to effectively measure and prove the impact of their content. Now, a few years later, our product has evolved and helps marketers do just that. We’re growing our team to make it work even better and bring our vision to more people.
Here are some lessons we learned along the way:
1) Love your customers.
Treat your customers well, and they’ll treat you well in return. We strive to give every one of our customers exceptional support and service. Our amazing team goes above and beyond what’s needed, and we see the feedback from our customers daily. I’m incredibly proud of the amazing work our Customer Success team does every day.
2) Listen.
Every decision about our product is made after listening. We listen to our customers, we listen to our employees, and we listen to industry leaders. Strong and constructive feedback is the core of what makes up our product roadmap.
3) Focus.
We focused on content attribution because we are passionate about understanding how stuff works and we felt we could be the best content attribution platform out there. Focus helps us align our teams, customers and partners around a shared purpose. Focus also tells us what not to do, which can be more important than what to do.
4) First Who, Then What
As James C. Collins put it, we firmly believe it is more important to make sure you get the right people on the bus, then worry about where they sit.
On that note, if you are looking to be a part of a passionate, performance-driven team, and feel you share the values we shared above, we’d love to have you on board.
